So my 2008 M8 gauge did not display anything but odometer. the two buttons on the gauge were non functional.
I thought I had to replace the whole gauge at $395 new and varying prices for used ones from $100 - $200 but would mean my odometer would no longer be accurate to the machine.
After some digging and knowing that 2008 had a bad seal from factory and Arctic Cat replaced them at that time for free. I stumbled on the re-build or Upgrade kits for $24.00. Even the parts counter did not know this existed and had 3 in stock.
the new lens has a O-ring and the two buttons with a wire lead.
I changed mine out with $24.00 Part # 0637-319 for the standard gauge and presto. Fixed Gauge works perfectly now.
