April 3rd in Elkford....

As I said in another post; the best snow since Xmas! I don't really care if you don't believe as these are action shots in the powder and speak for themselves. It is not the west coast with Norona and Pancake but beautiful, downtown Elkford in the SE Kootenay's. I think I can say, "we found the 50 cm's" but it isn't to the north of Elkford......

All I was saying was that when the CAC said there was 50 cm north and east of Elkford 10 days ago I think it got dumped way more to the west. We had glorious, fluffy powder instead of wettish, heavy snow. It was sweet for early April and yes, it was in Mear Lake and above. At 7200' the snow is nice!!

Quit laying around drinking coffee and get those pictures up!! I never got stuck once but the young fellow had to try my machine and guest what....he got it stuck. His older bro was stuck quite a bit as was the Cat but they were pushing the limits in the tamaracks....
