Apex CR Tunnel?

Is it possible to use a front mount tunnel for a rear mount on a apex if you cut out the middle section?

The M-10 side brackets can they be used for stock mounting location with new holes or do they need to be replaced?

Just wondering found a couple of used tunnels....if its worth the project..

I think for what I want to do a front mount tunnel would work better....want to move the turbo up just like the new apex kit or nytro style......
