Maybe around Whistler bc. It would have to be on a glacier I would think. What sled are you getting that its being shipped already?

Lots of riding in BC in July! I've ridden Boulder in July, and Meadow Mountain, North of Kaslo in August. And there's always water cross. There are not too many legal events in Canada, but there is a huge circuit in the States :)

As soon as you take possession your warranty starts.....I would wait until 15 min before your first trip in the fall/winter....but that's just me.
Not sure on Cats warranty but BRP 's starts on Dec. 1st for units picked up before that date Dave.

I bought my m1000 From T&T and the warranty started dec1. Come to think of it maybe that's why when it blew up at the end of November they didn't warranty it lol!

I guess the hardest part to riding in the summer is getting access to the snow line. Like mentioned earlier, glaciers are a good start but getting there is a problem. Last year couple of Calgary die hards were down to the Koots and rode Harvey but that won't happen this year. With the warm April weather and the rain, the snow is pretty much gone. There was snow at the new cabin last year in early August and it is gone already this year. Go figure......

There is a sale date and a pickup date on the registration to the manufacturer but BRP does not penalize you for that as December is a universal snow month pretty much everywhere (prairie and mountain). Any riding done before December is free. I'm pretty sure the other manufacturers are the same.

LMAO theres lots to ride still. Problem is takin a new machine down gravel roads sometimes for aways. Creek xings chance of bustin chit up real good with not much cushion beneath. Better to wait and avoid fawken up the new ride.

Meadow Mountain had a bad culvert washout end of may, not sure if it is repaired yet.

Pemberton Ice fields are good all year. There is a big glacier near Golden, think its part of the Columbia Ice fields? Rode it in august before. Im doing a trip there soon,,, once I get my turbo finished so I can tinker with it.

Going to tow the sleds with a side by side as close to the snow as possible. Might not want to do a summer run on a brand new sled tho,, but thats your call.
