I need to replace the rear axles on my 660 grizz, so i was looking at these American CV heavy duty axles online. I would like to put a lift on my quad someday, and i knew that i needed heavy duty axles, they seem to be a reasonable price $250 with shipping and duties (each). So i would like to know if anyone has had problems with them, or if there worth it. Gorilla axles are to expensive.

I replaced my rear axle with an American CV axle and haven't had an issue yet. This was also on a 660 grizz. I have only put about 300km on the machine since, but all fairly hard riding.

I havea 06 660 grizz and I replaced the complete right rear cv axle for $277 (tax shipping etc included) from the cv man off Ebay... I was happy with the product.. not sure about how it would handle a lift though.. Iamthecvman@netscape.net if you want to look him up...

Good Luck

Take a look at highlifter forums, allot of guys are having problems with american cv/cv man. Some have no problems, other snap them within the first minute of riding.

i would hope that if they are snapping that easy that the company is replacing them on warranty. but i know it's expensive but gorrila axles are the way to go. i'm not sure but i think highlifter sells axles aswell.
