I see that lee valley sells the stuff, but I need it in a black anodized finish, and around 6 feet long.





Any suppliers in edmonton that I can go to? Internet is not coming up with anything.

Something that takes a 1/4-20 or 5/16 bolt... approx dimension is 1/2"x 1 1/2"

I would say buy a chunk from LV and take it to Anderson Anodizing for the color of your choice. Sounds easy enough..

LV only sells it in standard anodized, and in 4 ft lengths,,, I might just have it etched and powdercoated... and make joint...

Dave, it's just for my tonneau cover, a fastening device to mount a bracket that can handle my peddlebike to the riding areas...which looks like it belongs.

You can have anodized items stripped and re-anodized. Kevin did my rails, they were blue now there black.

Just stopped in there, and they don't have anything like that. They don't even have a supplier that would get it in. Guess I will just make it out of 2 pcs.
