i expect as much action as the last inquiry on fuel prices, Oil prices under 90/barrel and prices at the pump which reflect a 1.30/barrel lol

just another inquiry,

Maybe they should start with BRP it's a proiduct made in canada and yet they can be bought way cheaper across the boarder.. :rant:And a cat that is made in across the boarder is way cheaper than a brp unit.

No the Americans wont pay the higher prices and we will, so they charge us the higher prices.

For example suggest retail for a summit x 163 e-tec in the states is 12.649.00 and a M8 162 sno pro is 12.400.00. So in the usa the msrp is almost the same, why aren't the two almost the same in canada is my question.

I've been told on more than one occasion that brp subsidises the us market so that they can sell more units down there. And in all honesty the doo's should actually be more down there than in canada due to our dollar being above par with us dollar ans it is an item that is exported to the states.

I also try to buy all my big purchases in the US but there are enuf ppl in Canada who pay retail so why would "they" do a price correction? I personally don't see it happening.

If it was worthwhile I would go south. Got one more year on the old warping M1K, then probably get a couple M8s. Not too worried about warranty, both will be visiting Linderman before I ride them. Where in the US is good for Canadian shoppers? In Alberta Dons speed parts, Ralphs and Chunks are the ones I have heard the best things about. Don't care to support my local dealer because there isn't one. I work hard to earn my income, I would like someone to work hard to earn my business. It would have to be a substantial savings for me to buy sleds in the states, but I would never rule it out.
