Aftermarket air box????? Timbersled

As anyone tried these air box kit's from " Timbersled" on a REV with DPM? Not sure if they are worth the money?

DID YOU MEAN A KIT LIKE THIS??? NOPE HAVEN'T TRIED IT... JUST PUT IT IN LAST NITE...... SIMPLE, WELL MADE KIT, THOUGH. SORRY, CAN'T SEEM TO DOWNLOAD PICS, SAYS NOT A LEGITIMATE FILE???................... RON???

We found that on the rev if you put filters on it and got rid of the airbox you lost like 10hp.. But let us know how it works..

I have'nt bought one, it seemed like a good idea but the one guy I know that have played with the air box did not had any luck.

I wouyld personally stick with the stock airbox, You could look into upgrading the horn part on the side panel oart of airbox to one that came on the xrs cause they are bigger,, But i wouldnt even put extra vents into your airbox cause it'll mess up the dpm calibration..

This One Is Put On My 1000rt Sdi, So Don't Guage By It, Since You Have An 800r, But It Is A Very Clean Simple Kit, And Very Well Engineered. Has Made A Difference, Besides Saving About 7 Lbs. Check These Out:

Putting on filters on the 1000 is all good.The stock air box sucks belt dust where it joins to the fender. After testing I found to move the air sencer back as far as possible.It reads the air under the hood = sucks! Move it, it rocks.

On turbo 1000's we tuck the air sensor on the left side by the console .. You get air flow from the vents in the hood gettin to it. It helps.

you could never tell it was almost a write-off after slamming into a very large rock that must've been heavier than my 1ton.... Lol
