If you are looking at mods the head is a good way to easy into them. After that you could add a pipe if you want and get another 14 hp on the top end.

I have a can and that's it. Wouldn't mind a few more ponies. What kind of head would you recommend?

Yeah, a single pipe won't give 14 hp on the top end.
If you already have the head and want some top end hp. The pipe will add 10 to 14 hp to the top end. Either CPI pipr or the slp pipe. The head doesn't really add any top end hp just mid range hp. And makes the throttle response way better.

running Power addictions head on my pro.. what a night and day difference.. should have done it right from the get go. but waited till last season.. throttle response and mid range is awesome.. no bog anywhere. best bang for your buck in my opinion.. best of all its a bolt on option.. no fuel controller needed.

So I bit the bullet and ordered the whole kit today. SLP pipe set with a power commander, P.A 13:1 head, intake vent, SLP springs for my 2012 pro 800/155.

So with a 13.1:1 head, you are able to run premium for 3000 - 8000 ft ?
(mostly ride Revy, Sic & Golden)
Also, I'm running nitrous (boondocker), would the higher compression affect DET ?

You can run premium fuel, bolt on push throttle and go type of upgrade, not sure about the nitrous,a little pricey though but I think it's worth it.

91 octane at those elevations and you're good to go. Just take it easy at 1800ft when starting out in Revy as you climb to elevation.

No idea about your second questions. Be carefull with the NOS and overevving and hitting the DET. These sleds DET is pretty sensitive so I'm thinking you'll have to clutch for the NOS.
