ACT Dial Adjust

Has anyone tried this out, if so how does it stand up? :

The ACT (Diamond Drive) Drive system can be difficult to set and maintain belt deflection. With the Dial Adjuster it becomes very easy and allows you to not have to completely remove the driven to change the deflection. Comes with installation instruction sheet and wrench for field adjustments.

Fett Brothers sells a good one. I like the Cutler model too. Get rid of the stock crap and use one of the aftermarket. I play with clutching alot and these adjusters are quick and effective. I honestly think Cat should make one of the aftermarket designs stock.

I like my stock clutching, this is for adjusting belt deflection only!!!! Anyone else try one of these?

Looks like the same principle as the BDX belt deflection adjusters we use on the M8 and M1. Work very well, no complaints other then it should have come with the sled rather then the crappy shim setup. Cost about $30 each.

Easiest thing i've ever installed on a sled. BTW, pick up an adjustable angle grinder wrench from princess auto, cheaper and works better then the BDX wrench.

Now I have 3 to choose from! Have you used either of these two yet? If so what do you like most? I see the $85 fettbros has anti galling of the clutch which is cool to have.... Cutlers seems way simple, maybe too simple???? Argggg which to buy now

I had used the Fett version for some time and really liked the design. It did eventually wear out but as I mentioned, I'm always playing with my clutching. I now run the Cutler version and to me it is by far the easiest to work with. I used an old spark plug socket that came with the sled, drilled it out so the allen key can fit through the holes. Got a long allen key and use it as the lever. Slick and quick for adjustments. By going with the Cutler design it is one less tool to worry about.
