Thanks ,do you recall what they charged you?
Martin Motor Sports west edmonton. it used to be $100 but its dropped closer to $50 now.
I see online in some places its like 29.95,likely the states but I think a 100 bucks for a blasting cap and a shot of co2 is ridiculus.
Oh well, I will post the cost when I find out
I just got mine exchanged at Bow cycle south in Calgary. I had the black one and exchanged with yellow one. I think it was suppose to be more because I was going from black to yellow (like 100 bucks) but the charged me around $40 plus 5 for a cap (total 47.50 with tax). They said it was ilegal to transport with out cap.
I also called and spoke to an ABS tech and he said that the black ones don't meet north american std's and thats why the swithch to Yellow. The best way to find out if yours is good is to weigh it and if it's +/- 5g from whats on the bottle sticker then replace if not your good to go.
Also if you fired it off (as I did to test it because I bought it used) place one drop of gun oil in the quick dissconnect for the "t" handel to prevent corrosion.
note when you pack up your air bags make sure that you can see the two yellow crosses inside on either side so you know your packed right. The reason is 2/3 of the air for inflation comes from the atmosphere not the bottle and you need those valves to be clear and not wrapped up.
Lastly if your t handel connection is silver (not goldish plated or black) then you need to replace it because it's discontinued.

Did you get a price for the t handel?

replaced mine earlier this year in Cooke City. Accidently set off the bags in the middle of a meadow, hooked the handle on the brake lever bending over the bars to clear snow from the intake on the sled. The snow was sick, keeping the sleds aspirated was a challenge. Charged me $150 at the arctic cat dealer for canister and trigger. I guess when your in the middle of nowhere you pay what the guy behind the counter says or go with out. That said, he may have bent me over a bit on the ABS stuff but gave another guy in the group pretty good deal on a couple of a-arms and a shock for his M-0 after finding a rock and got us back out riding.
