Not to be the dissenting voice here but, Ok actually i will be, dosent anyone else think these helment cam videos are terrible??? even the best ones still have that fish eye apperence and have a narrow field of view. I can hardly be bothered to take a picture, let alone have to sit and edit hours of head bobbing P.O.V footage.

LOL

ya some are terrible. but these new HD cameras are very cool.

it all depends on whose doing the filming and how creative they are with the angles and type of riding they do.

one thing i liked about my POV camera...was you could get a 120 degree vision lense. very nice. but the quality blows.

i noticed you never had a camera when we went riding lol.

headin to fire practice soon, but can wait to try out the new ideas when i get back

videos i was first playing with came out over 400mb ? not sure it that large or not. Will try again when i get home

what site is that last video uploaded to ?

It does sound like the file you have is quite large for the length of it. You should be able to end up with a high quality 5 minute video that is 150MB or less. This is probably increasing the upload time considerably. The file format might have something to do with it to.

Try playing around with exporting it in either .mp4 (also known as MPEG-4) which is very efficient or .wmv (I wouldn't normally suggest this format but Windows Movie Maker which you are using seems to do quite a good job with it).

If you do a google search on exporting videos from windows movie maker for youtube you will find quite a few tutorials too.
