Another run vs the twin piper. To be fair the twin piper is not set up for low altitude and was over revving a lot and probably down 20 hp according to the dyno sheet.

… oh another one, No mention of a SRP clutch kit in The doo, or 30lbs added to the tunnel of the poo.

The doo has 16 km on it. Paul just picked it up Saturday. Yes he clutched it too. Didn’t weigh Bennys tunnel bag pretty sure it was full of rocks that we found in the field, probably an extra 60 lbs easy. Paul’s sled will be the fastest in the mountains in 3’ of snow so just relax doo laiders.

I was listening to the snowest podcasts going to and from work. It was particularly interesting what Kurt from Kurts Polaris was saying about the p-22 and what was needed eliminating the bearing to gain bottom end, and more importantly, reliability.
Is this a mod the Polaris guys are actually doing to avoid the p-85 install?
Then he got into the geardown kit.

My 9r has lots of bottom end the way it is I have never rode a boost so I can’t comment on one of them with a p22

I have my 2022 modded Boost 165 by SRP with P22.
I also have a 2024 9R 155 completly stock.
The 9R jumps ahead a bit out of the hole then the Boost kills it.
As expected.
Sooooo many variables, kinda pointless to drag race them.
I do like the 9R, so fast getting back on the gas.
SRP can squeeze a lot more out of a stock 9R. His mods will make the 9R an even more fun sled in the bush.
Can't see an equally mooded Boost loosing in deep open terrain.
Caper11 has ridden my Boost, bit less bootom than a TurboR but more legs on top.
At elevation in deep open areas turbos will be super tough to outrun, have to really work on an NA($$$$).
Makes for good reading though.
