I'm trying to put a 136-151 tunnel extension on my brothers 99 summit x 670, Does anybody have a little more specific directions than the ones from slp? ( install tunnel extension mith providedc hardware lol) I'm not sure if i'm supposed to uncurl the outer edge of the running board ( remove grip rails on edge of tunnel?) or what i'm supposed to do lol

You'll have to take off plastic and the bumper and snow flap, and then align the extension, line up and drill rivet holes and rivet on, re-install bumper/flap etc. They aren't a hard install. Hope that helps

Is the extension one piece? if not, can the sides go inside the tunnel and under the stock running boards?

Will it fit under the running board or can you trim as required so it will fit on top of the running board?

i was thinking about trimming it but i didn't want to find out i was doing something wrong and ruin the extension, but you think it needs to be trimmed?

I put the long extension on my '99 summitx and i never had that lower lip yours has.... I would trim it enough to get it into place inside the original running board curl..... Actually lots of guys drive rods inside the running board curl to help prevent them from bending(they all doo). You can also purchase a longer rear bumper, which uses the front stock bolt hole for strength... Keep us informed with pics....

I can't see any other way to get it to fit....were there any instructions that may assist you?

5. install new tunnel extension over the outside of factory tunnel using bolts, washers, and locknuts through original bumper location holes, installing rivets through bottom of footrest

directions from SLP for f2000,s2000 and CK3 chassis

Got mine at specialty sleds - go see glengine.... Straight forward installation... Also i put vehicle door edge material along the bottom of the extention.... Finishes it off instead of the machine "cut" edge.
