yesterday I went to the cotage to pic up my 98 rmk. it started great, I let it warm up for 5 min the I rode it for about 1 min to the loading area. it boged 2times I figuerd it was just cold until I tried to hit a drift and it backfierd and stalled. then I thought it was to lean so I turned the altitued compinsator a bit to richen it. then it was flawless, it was running perfict! the plugs were golden brown. after we unloded it at my house it would start and die and sometimes POP, when we drove it in the garage it sounded like CRAP!!! I checked the plugs and they were black. what do you think is wrong?

sounds like it is running to rich now. when it first bogged and back fired it could be due to the old gas in the tank

You could still have water in the gas. Mine did the same thing first time out after it had sat outside all summer. I drained all the gas and even sucked out the tank dry. Then I filled it with High octane and now it purrs nicely and goes like hell.
