98 Foreman 450 es wont start

i have a 98 450 ES, had it stored at my buddys place. fired it up,no problems. loaded into back of my truck. brought it home, and now i cant get it too run....... any ideas?? i did for get to turn the gas off, was a 45 min ride. just happened. is it flooded?? too cold?? both?? shld i let it sit til morn?? and if the batery dies, can i just boost it off my truck?

You can boost it off the truck. Also put a bit of gas line antifreeze in, might have frozen up a bit in the lines. If you think it is flooded turn the fuel off and crank it over for a bit then turn it back on and should start right up.

Did you hit the kill switch as well as the key when you turned it off? (Did that once, look pretty dumb when buddy walks over...try it now.:d

have you checked the basics yet?(spark & compression) if sparks all good, compression below 100 you probly just washed the cylinder down.(leaving the gas on when trailering will bounce the quad around enough for it to start filling cyl with gas, thus washing all the oil off of the cyl walls) add alittle oil to comb. chamber and spin over. you need decent compression. Ftewr it fires you might have a fouled plug, so just clean it or better, replace with iridium.

it turned out to be that on off switch on the left hand grip, where the electric shift is. that buttin there is wore out or really finicky. it has a sweet spot. but thanks guys for the replies.
