'97 VMAX 500 Can Mods

Anyone ever mod the heavy abortion of a can on these things so they aren't so big and heavy? Like remove one of the chambers?

This is the most ridiculous setup I've ever seen. An MBRP new is $345 shipped so I am looking to mod this one or if someone else has a cheap can that would fit that would be sweet too.

Wow thats crazy looking,take it to a scrap dealer you should make big bucks selling it by the pound and deduct that from the mbrb price lol.

I saw that the sled parts place by Armstrong has a bunch of different used cans for $100. Some looked close to fitting. Might have to give Mike Black at Crowd Pleasers a call and see if he has something used that's close. I can do a bit of welding to make the piping line up if need be.
