I have a 95 summit 670 that is way to hard to pull, so i took it apart and found out i had about 3 feet of rope, so i took my recoil all apart and was going to put more rope on. As i was working on it i managed to crack the plastic pulley in the assembley. Does andbody know where i could find the pulley and/or a whole new assembley? i also have a blown 96 summit layin around, can i take the recoil assembly off the 96 and out it on the 95?
thanks

I don`t think the 96 will work. I had the 95 too and broke the recoil. The reason they are hard to pull over is because of the gearing. In 96 they change the gear to make it easier.

i thought that was 97?? My 96 still had the bolt on style recoil, but my 97 had the recoil with the band clamp. Either wat if im not mistaken you can reomve the recoil adapter from the engine and change it to which ever style you prefer. I always changed the recoils on my 670's to the old style that were hard to pull as the were much more durable. Nothin worse than startin your sled off the clutch;)
