800 ski doo motor into kodiak quad???

my buddy has a 2002 kodiak 400 that just can't keep up with the big boys so i talked him into puting his 2002 800cc skidoo motor into his quad.One phone call to Western Automotive Specialties and it was on.the next day both sled n quad got dropped off for its transformation.i will send pitchers when finished. Does anyone know of a 4x4 quad with a sled motor?Any pitchers? it should have wheelie power now . Was about 30HP, will be about l30HP. he,s going to need 2 koplin 4gal. fuel cans mounted on front rack.. .If it works well i will be putting a bigger, badder, louder sled motor. GO BIG OR GO HOME

A motor from a Summit 583 might be safer

the drivetrain should be ok wiyh a solid rear axle and Gorilla axles in front.if the tranny blows it will be iliminated. As for safe , GO BIG OR GO HOME. If he wanted safe and reliable he would have left a 30HP - 400cc 4 stroke motor.it's SAFE to say the grizzly has weak drivetrain (axles) and weak POWER.as long as your happy with 30-40HP.
