800 rev bogging

my 04 800 summit at around 5000-7000 in a highload situation(deep snow or climb)it gets boogy till i can get it to 7500-8100 i can almost here some clutch noise,like a grinding.could it be a secondary backshift issue,any ideas?

Have you had the sled in the mountains before? This could be a simple adjustment to the clutches for the elevation. If your hearing grinding this is probably not the problem. I'd open them up and check for wear and tear, damage like dented rollers or even dirt and grime. Could be a million things.

Can you provide more info?

i took the secondary apart it looks ok,cleaned it up as it had some never sieze on things from the shaft the secondary sits on,i put to much on,i think it may just have been binding a bit and not backshifting right.the buttons where new last year.
