I ride with 2 guys who run those tires on their brutes. Both say they are not bad but one of them is switching to outlaws

What size rims do you have? last I looked you could only go up to 27" on 12" rims with xtr's, you need 14" rims for bigger tires.
I'm thinking of going with zillas so I can get 30's and still use my 12" rims.

You can get 27" xtrs for 14" rims, they are very common. And you don't need 14" rims to go to bigger tires, I have 12" rims on my 29.5 outlaws, a few of my buddies have 12" rims with 28" silverbacks(and you can get the 30" for 12" rims as well) and the 30" mudlights you can get for 12" rims as well.

I was talking strictly mud lite xtr's, I wanted to move up to 30s but the biggest they offer on a 12 inch rim was 28"XTRs, you have to move up to a 14" rim to go bigger with that tire.

According to ITP's website they don't make mudlight XTR's in anything bigger than a 27" tire. The only ones bigger are the mudlight XXL.
ITP Mud-Lite XTR Radial
ITP Mud Lite

And all the mudlight XL and XXL are offered in 12" and 14" rim sizes, for 28" and up.

There is a half inch tall piece of pipe that sits between your spring and the bottom or top of your spring(not sure which). I put a 1.5 inch Quadrax lift and Highlifter HD springs on mine, cost $105 and I have not had any problems with axles, ball joints or any other parts due to the lift.

Can't seem to find any pics of the pipe lifts.
