6 Lakes north of Fort Mcmurray

I’m new to this page. I was just looking for some directions on how to get to 6 lakes from Fort Mcmurray. Also, about how far from the road is it. Just curious how much fuel we are gonna need?

i would take at least 10 gallons we went to the dune there once and between 2 quads we burnt 22 gallons of gas we did 316 km in on day...13 hrs on pinned all day the lakes were about half way its all whooped sand....great trip tho

Drive north of town until the road ends. It’ll be a large parking lot which is the beginning of the winter road. From there it’s about 75km up to Six. Run stock or sand tires. Anything else and you better bring belts and tools. It can be done in a day, but it’s a long one.
