4WD issues-electrical?

I have a 2000 Polaris Xplorer 400. The 4WD suddenly stopped working and my gut tells me this may be electrical. I really don't have any reason to believe this other than the low beam headlights (under the front rack) also quit working.

Can anybody provide some guideance on where to start to get my 4X4 working again?
