If you don't have one of these weapons, get one. I use mine 10x more than expected. The Dewalt DCS438 is a certified ripper if you're into the mustard brand. The current Milwaukee one is pretty weak though.
I added a 24 tooth carbide blade from amazon. It cuts through 1/4" sheet aluminum better than anything else I've tried.

Goes through the disc pack pretty quick
which one? I've use the included multi-material disc on everything including hardened steel. Only small jobs though and it can be pretty slow on some stuff. Haven't worn one out yet or even tried the abrasive style. The toothed carbide is definitely the ticket for anything soft such as wood and plastics.
