What are your thoughts on the new release?

RIDE BETTER - HIGHER - FASTER WITH THE 2019 YETI SNOWMX SNOWCHECK

Magog, QC, April 2, 2018 – Camso is launching the 2019 YETI SnowMX Snowcheck Program so snowbike enthousiasts, snowmobilers, dirt and mountain bike riders can ride better, higher, faster and sooner on the 2019 YETI SnowMX line-up.
The YETI SnowMX - chosen by the 2018 X-Games gold medalist Cody Matechuk - is an advanced high performance customizable snow bike conversion system. The 2019 models will continue to push extreme riders to their limits. “The carbon fibre chassis and the titanium drive shaft innovation makes it the ligthest, most durable, best performing snow bike system”. explains Bruce Dashnaw, Sales & Marketing Executive Director – Powersports at Camso.
The YETI SnowMX Snowcheck Program, running from April 2 to May 31, allows riders to build their dream system by choosing their customization colors and select the perfect upgrade for their ride.
The seven factory color option includes top gear, bottom gear, rail anodizing, ski, bumper insert and YETI graphic. Enthusiasts can also choose over multiple suspensions. The Snowcheck Program offers over $1000 value in upgrades including a wheel kit and a cargo rack. Customers can also benefit from other accessories and options such as bogie wheels.
The 2019 YETI SnowMX Supersport, Freeride and Mountain models, which are up to 30 pounds (13.5 kg) lighter than anything else on the market, come with the following features:

  • An industry-first standard Soft Strut suspension, adding compliance under heavy loads without affecting deep snow performance
  • A new 10 or 12 inch Camso snow bike track for better traction, rolling efficiency and handling when leaning in transitions
  • ·Elka Stage 3 and Elka Stage 5 suspension upgrades - Elka Stage 3 provides a low speed compression adjustment to adapt to different rider types, while Elka Stage 5 offers fully adjustable high and low speed compression and rebound adjustment
  • A reinforced suspension A-arm, for increased rider confidence in the most demanding back country riding
Customers can design their ideal ride online through YETImizer at , and can take advantage of the YETI SnowMX Snowcheck Program by ordering through an authorized YETI SnowMX dealer.

On the fence for a freeride or new yeti... love the Elka addition but didn't have any issues with raptors on sleds or bikes. The Camso track works good on the SS so the full width should rip/float well. The soft strut is a great product, I never felt it bottom out once in the few days I rode one. Freeride 18k vs yeti/yz 25k... life's tough

Talking with Ryan from Argyl, the parts are back to low lead times, lots of stock. 2019 in the showroom within weeks as well. He's a good salesman

great, this information makes it a even tougher decision. lol Its too bad the timbersled snowcheck (April 17th) ends so early vs the yeti (May 31st). Feeling a bit under pressure.

Don't get pressured by the snow check crap! There is nothing ltd about these snow check models and there are many snowcheck models available in the fall. The perks a quite minimal to warrant rushing your descision. I have a snowcheck model that I bought in the fall and paid snowcheck pricing for it. There are still a few new Snowcheck 2018 Aros available. With the changes to this kit being minimal, I would even consider talking with Ryan at Argyll and see what he can set you up with a hold over kit for. He may even have some 16 129s still available. Stay away from the 17s unless they have upgraded to a 18 tunnel. 17 tunnels are crap. I would take an upgraded 16 over a 17 any day.

I talked to ryan a bit, he said he already has 19's in stock, said something about early release snowchecks hes been doing for a month. He was not aware of yeti's April 2nd release and the May 31st deadline, and said i only had a couple weeks left to snowcheck. It was a strange conversation, but he was super helpful talking about the kits and what would work good for me.

He knew about the Elkas for a while and was already telling customers. There's really no other difference than the Camso track in full width not just SS and soft strut being in the base kit for '19, from what I figure... if you're thinking Yeti, he will make sure you're happy again and again.

Whats the issue with the 17 tunnel ? Ive got two seasons on mine no issues whatsoever. Only issue i had with the kit was a crappy brake rotor and pads otherwise its been flawless
