We were the first group into Salmon on Friday and spent about half an hour shoveling down the walls to get up the first icy section. Well worth the time vs risking a wreck. The luge run down through the trees coming out was interesting and there was a big group we passed on our way out that must have been a good show when they came down.

Little effort from a few different groups goes a long way for sure! How was the snow in salmon?

Our group of five came out in the dark from salmon on Friday night. There was still one group coming out behind us with a couple of snowbikes. Hopefully the bikes went around the luge run.

Can anyone verify? Was hoping to ride this weekend but not worth the drive if the hotels & the Legion are gone.

Road Foam Friday this past week, fairly windswept but definitely found some good snow. Paradise on Saturday was a bit of a gong show getting in, but worth every inch of the fight. Red Sands on Sunday still had great snow to ride in the trees. Thanks for another solid weekend BRPPS!

24km south of town, east side of the highway. Finn Creek staging area gives you access to all of the above mentioned areas from the same lot. Follow the signage on the trails up to get to the riding area of choice. Once you past the turnoffs for Groundhog East/West, follow that road to get you back to Salmon, I don't believe the turnoff for Salmon is signed though... sled tracks are typically a good indicator..
