Me and buddy chad clowning around near cheadle his (turbo) and dads (stock) on the prairie going head to head with the best side by side comparison of the two setups. The turbo setup from redline performance in Sylvan Lake. We had just switched out the aluminum charge tube for Dave's new rubber charge tube in which the sled pulled harder. According to Dave the new tube gives a better boost curve. Quite the machine. We're around 3700' here in which it pulled 10-12 lbs boost.

The boosted sled would do much better in the mountains where the DA is higher.

The problem to this side by side comparison is location. Thus making this comparison kinda not telling the real story.
Here is the deal: One, you need a load applied to ANY motor to make hp, without a load applied, even a 1000hp motor won't make power. In a field you won't make power. The reason why these sleds were so close.
Two, elevation. closer you are to sea level the better a N/A motor will deliver. Do you ride mountain sleds at sea level?....some do LOL
Three, expect a very different result at elevation pulling a 30deg. slope with 2ft of pow. the N/A will be left far behind if the turbo sled is setup properly and starts to make the power because of condition's.
Have fun, gotta love turbo's.

12# of boost with a redline non intercooled turbo not a real comparison cuz your just making hot air. With non intercooled and a cheep turbos like kpa your well passed the limits of that kit. Back it off to 7 or 8 and try riding it!
