Their Facebook page says that Polaris has not released a MSRP yet and that they required an approximate price value to register the contest. So it definitely includes the trip but it's clearly just a guesstimate value.

I have no idea what some of the guys are going on about the a-arms being weak that's a total joke, if you HIT something then something is going to give, better an a-arm then a bulkhead. The power is increased but only 1 or 2 horsepower with changes to improve durability, better ecu, wiring, pistons, cly, case etc. The fact that it weighs 417 lbs is fantastic and I have heard it feels like an even bigger loss in weight because the belt drive works so well. As for the price some guys need to stop crying and look at what you are getting, the belt drive alone to put on aftermarket is well over 2k plus install if you can't do it yourself then look at what you would spend to lose the rest of the 15 lbs. I think this sled is a bargain at that price and if you don't you have not been around very long. There were guys spending 5 to 10 thousand or more after the sled purchase to get THIS sled and now it is coming out of the crate this way. Ski-Doo has been higher price all along I am sure they will not LOWER the price on their new flagship.

Food for thought do you think they would have released all the goodies so early in the season. There is more to come! Why not release the photos of the 163 at the same time? There will be more info released march 5. Dont forget theres still the dealer meeting in orlando. Still have to impress the dealers that attend as well. Im guessing just a 500 dollar increase from last years pricing as well. Gotta pay to have the best!

P.s. Sorry for all caps!!
HEY IT TAKES AWAY ALL THE CAPS AWESOME!!!!

Good post! Why do people get so upset when there sled bends up when they hit a tree or rock?????? The sleds weren't designed to hit immovable objects. If you don't want parts bending then we will all be riding 1500 lb machines!

I agree. Polaris isn't going to show all their cards until the others do. I'm really looking forward to the snow check info.

Exactly.........I want as light as possible and if I smoke a rock or a tree I am willing to buy parts and fix it. If it folds up when I'm in 3 feet of pow and don't hit anything then I would be pissed but we all know that doesn't happen. If you bent a-arms you hit something period. There was a time when cats arms were so strong if you hit something the sled would fold in half but the a-arms would still be good I'm thinking what we have now is a better deal.

My buddys 2012 Pro runs way better than my 11 Pro. If they all run like the 2012s then they don't need a power increase for 2013. I think ther will do just fine with the package they have.

417 lbs with an HPS can = 410lbs Looks OK.

What? Would you really want a new engine in this new FLICKABLE chassis? Have you forgotten already...09 they claimed to be the highest hp sled on the market that year, motors started blowing up left, right, and center. THEY CAN'T BUILD HIGHER HP ENGINES, without at least ten years of R&D...I just about pissed myself laughing listening to the Engineer Video...where the hell was that promise four years ago. The PRO chassis is great...just my two cents

" Limit one entry per person or email address. Prize (1) a 2013 Polaris® 800 Pro RMK® 155 snowmobile and a trip for two to Roseau, MN, to take a Polaris factory tour. US contest estimated value based off of MY12 MSRP of sled: $11,799. Total estimated contest value including trip and sled: $14,500. CAN contest estimated value based off of MY12 MSRP of sled: $13,299. Total estimated contest value including trip and sled: $16,000. Sponsor: Polaris Industries Inc., Medina, MN 55340. "

So $13,299 MSRP CDN is their estimate?

MY12 means model year 2012. That is what the MSRP was in 2012, not necessarily what it will be for 2013.

First, no one knows if the sled has more power or not. Polaris does not release HP numbers. You won't know until someone dynos it. There are some changes to the engine. One thing I see in the picture is the the fuel rail in different. Even if the sled doesn't have more power it is going to be more efficient at getting the power to the track. Second, bet you no one saw the different throttle block and kill switch setup.
