2012 tether

Bought a tether for my 12' pro and located the harness near the steering post but no connection seems to fit. Does anyone have a different one than me? Do i in plug something? I thought it was supposed to be plug and go.

yeah i'm 100% thats the wrong one the one you need has two lips but one on top of each other like this the black one in the middle

I got the same tether and just made up a short wiring harness using spade connectors. I also thought it was supposed to be a direct plug in, that black plug in the above picture is the one I connected to.

I just put one in from the dealer, It had the correct plug on it, just had to plug and play, definatly go back to the dealer and get the correct one, mine has a black rubber plug rather than the red one you have, not sure if that will help.

I saw a few pictures of someone else's instal and they had black plug also, guess that's the one I need. I'd rather just find one to plug right in.

Might as well take it back, I bought mine online, easier to just modify it for me.
