Took my new to me 2012 800 etec out for a first ride last night. At 3700' and -1 the clutching seems weird. From a stop if I grab the throttle the rim comes up to 7900 then falls off to 7500. Let go of the flipper and grab it again and all I get is 7400 to 7500. Clickers on 3. 250 lb rider and 163 track. Any ideas guys?

When you hit the throttle again, I'm guessing you were going at a pretty good speed....like over 50mph (whatever that is in Km?). This is typical of the clutching on the 12 and newer Summits. They went to a very soft secondary spring, a ramp that loads rather hard and super low gearing that doesn't let the clutches see much load.
You can try going to clicker 4 which will make it easier for the secondary to backshift and regain RPM. Or maybe drop a small amount of pin weight.
A few questions that may shed some light on other possibilities.....
How many miles on the sled? How many on the belt? Exhaust all stock or any other engine or clutching mods? Any chance this was on hardpack and coolant temp was getting hot...5 bars or more?
