Hey guys, here is a little taster of what I could find on the new sleds. No chassis change, but it seems like they may be going towards FOX Evol shocks, lightwieght billet goodies, and CA Pro skis.

Chassis change?...lol and to what the sno-pro chassis or the uncompromisable F chassis. C'mon man everybody who rides an M knows it's the chassis that makes an M.

True...but its the lightest chassis cat's got and it flat-out WORKS...i think that's why it's been that way. Unless they totally re-design it and Bret Rasmussen is in charge of this do NOT change the M's, even for years to come....lol.

I think its time for a change, i wont be riding cat next year unless they come out with something other than a new wrap.

well scotts you can always go ride doo's new wrap if you don't like it...lol. You put evol shocks on an M and a better ski your making it a new chassis anyways in terms of handling, don't be a hypocrite man.

Iam not being hypocritical. I have rode pretty much everything out there. What iam critical of is how people Suck up the propaganda on these sleds like its gospel.I think the cat is a good chassi,but i hope they come out with something innovative not just regurgitated tech from 5 years ago.I will ride the xp because i like it, not because it has a new wrap and an old wheel kit.

uhhhhhh the m chassis is very close to the 1m chassis, if you open both hoods they are almost identical other than some cosmetic upgrades and the motor position. so that adds a few more years haha.


i like they didnt change the chassis again......now i can get a 09 m1000 and not look so out dated hahaha

If it works and is still winnning and out climbing why change? JS if it works leave it alone. IMO the only reason to change is if its needed to get better.

where do you get your information from?

since when does cat aalways get the highmark?

any given brand on any given day with any given rider will outclimb eachother depending on skill and conditions. they are all very close to the same in this department
