a dish should be big enough to feed 6-8 people, that way other foods get eaten as well. If it runs out , better luck next year for those that missed out...lol, hope this helps...

realistically if everyone brings the amount of food that their family would eat theoretically everyone should be fed.... if each person brings enough for 8 people than there will be one pile of leftovers unless people who did not contribute are eating as well....

From past experience better to have extra. Some people can eat lots. AHHHH free food load up boys.

I`m bringing a big beef roast maybe cooked in smoker or bbq. Will see how time goes.

okay just to clarify.... each camping UNIT that wants to take part in the potluck will bring 1 food item that is enough for 6 to 8 ppl, and you only need to bring 1 food item, not a food item per person. you also need to bring your own eating utensils and plates, chairs, and whatever you are drinking :d
