I had the same problem with my sled 2010 m8 snopro after the first tank of fuel I notice the octane sensor coming up so i started to use 10 or 15% race fuel C12 and the code went off about 4 or 5 rides after

I have the MBRP can and the air horn with no problems yet, if you find a solution post it for others.

yes i am still running 10 or 15% of c12 with 91 shell or if that don't work it could be a faulty knock sensor or it might be the ECU

tHANKS A LOT FOR THE INFO WERE GONNA GO FOR A COUPLE EVENING RIDES WITH SOME 94 OCTANE GAS SEE IF IT WORKS THEN RUN SOME C12 TO IT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS THANKS FOR YOUR INFO

Im not a Cat guy so forgive the stupid question. Is this sled not rated for reg (87 octane) gas? Why the high test? Fuel running cooler would kick out the sensor.

Forgive the stupid question but isn't this sled rated to run on regular fuel (87 octane). Running premium could be creating the sensor problem.

Is there a possibilty that the fuel is bad?? It happens every once in a while. I'd try a different gas station maybe...

This has happened to me probably 5 times as well. Made for a bad situation while catwalking at the top of a climb. I have tried fuel from many different stations, and it can't be bad... It's in Valemount where plenty of premium is cycled through the tanks. Either these sleds have super sensititive sensors, it's a faulty sensor, or we have to start running a bit of race or AV gas.

I'm new to the site and was just checking if anyone else was having octn problems on their 2010 M8? I have only ran 2 tanks of fuel through it and the octn came on about half way through the second tank. I shut it off and it resets right away. It has came on twice. I have had an MBRP can on it since day 1 so I don't know if that has any impact on it. Have been running premium so I don't think that is the problem.
