Hi Everyone:
I just bought a 2007 M1000. It has a boondocker fuel control box, speedwerx single pipe + can + y pipe, and adjustable clutch weights.
The sled came from Idaho, and since I am running it in Saskatchewan, I changed the boondocker settings to run at 2000' elevation.
The problem is that the sled wont rev past 6300 rpm, and only will go about 55-60mph. I had the sled in at the Arctic Cat dealer, and they cleaned the power valves, drained the fuel (premium), added different fuel (premium) and some octane boost. They said it was fixed, and it did work fine for a couple of miles, but is back up to its old tricks.
The weird part is that when I first fire the sled up, warm it up properly, and head out, the first time I punch it, it will rev right to 7800-ish and hit 90+ mph. Then I let off, slow down, and when I hit it again, it will only rev up to 6300 again, and only go 55 mph.
I cant figure it out, and the AC dealer didnt seem to know how to fix it. Anybody have any ideas? Any similar situations?
thanks
