2007 arctic cat m8

Hi, I have a 2007 Arctic Cat M8. It has a SLP pipe, V
force 3 reeds, MBRP can, Attitude box, custom air box, and a Cutlers 15:1 head. Sometimes I will be riding it and it will throw a check engine light. The code is air temp sensor. If the weather is warm it does it more than if the weather is cold. If I am climbing a hill it is worse. I put a new sensor in it and it didn't help. Has anyone had this problem or could you help me? What do you meen by custom airbox? Does it suck lots of under hood heat? Try moving the sensor to a cooler place. Or try to get some colder air under the hood. Try a guage cage or some vents!!
