2007 800r Summit X Update Question

Thinking about getting a 2007 800 summit. Is there an update on the engine that should have been done on warranty? I know there were some issue with this model year motor?

Yeah it should have the 2008 motor. Look for threaded holes in the block on the rear pto side mount.

be careful they are a brutal tough year to resell, they have been stereotyped as duds.

But in the same sense they if fixed they rock..
Have more power than a newer xp and to me ride better and easyer.

I wished I had my 07 again , did a drop and roll and kept riding the chit outa it and not bought my xp.
It's way harder to work on ect.. comparded to a rev..

I own one, put a new crate in last year. A few mods the thing rocks! Don't be scared.
