I have a 2006 RMK 600 HO, been completely rebuilt but after aligning the track I played around with it (with the track still in the air) and rev'd it up to 7000 rpm, once the engine went back down to idle it just stalls. I've done this a few times and keep getting the same result, but if I just start it up and let idle or rev it under 5000 rpm everything works fine and it goes back to the regular idle. The carbs have been cleaned and adjusted, and I've tried everything I can think of mechanically, I'm starting to wonder if it might be something electrical, anybody have any clues?

Check your throttle position sensor. Might have got knocked out of adjustment. You'll have to get the spec from a polaris tech manual.Or maybe your throttle cable might be hanging up a bit and causes the safety switch in the throttle block to shut it down.Cable might be frayed after you get past half throttle and gets it to stick slightly.

I'll definitely check that out! I completely forgot there was a safety switch in the throttle block, they neglect to mention that switch in the manual too. Thanks tho! I'll let you know how it goes!
