anyone own one of these summit's are they any good why did they stop makeing them?

They are heavy, plus the new chassis came out and the power to weight and fun factor is hard to beat in an XP.

and many of them have issues, there's a reason why they are cheap.

And the arm wrencing torque those monsters have when properly set-up is unbelieveable....... Only a turbo would beat ya.......... Just sayin'
.... And really they aren't much heavier than a rev, but the fun factor is friggin' amazing with them!!!

Only 71 pounds heavier than a REV 159. That's 15% heavier... according to BRP.

i have read on dootalk they have some eclectrical problems that you can fix like poor grounding too small of wires as long as the engine is good. i like power:d when did they change the frame?

just like the M1000 the ski-doo 1000 are discontinued because the lighter 800s by the same make can beat them in stock form.
But it dosnt take much to make the 200 horsepower that will bang with the boost bullies all day long!
