so pulled dads old viper out of the barn yesterday from sitting for the last 2.5 years and it fire up pretty decent actually..... except for a wicked fuel leak coming out of the air box.
i figured a float was stuck down and pouring fuel into the box, pulled the top of the air box out and it has a type of solenoid/vacuum valve in the air box.
one line runs into the top of the RH side carb, one line runs down to the double fuel lines running into the carb and it has a very small like 1/16 line running to a plug type looking ceramic thinger ma jigger lol.
the solenoid/vac valve looking thing has one large port out of it, sort of like a venturi pick up. its leaking fuel around that part. in all my years of wrenching i've never seen anything like this valve. anybody got any input?
if you can explain how to put some pictures up i'll throw some on in the morning
