Hopefully someone can help me on this cuz when i have the bike in neutral the bike wants to jump forward and it makes a nasty grinding noise in the clutch. so i pulled the cover off and the outside friction disc the claws were scraped on top edge. so if anyone konws what could be the cause that would be excellent! Thanks..

There could possibly something floating around in the clutch housing.

Close up pic of the shifter drum as well.

Ooops. I only typed half the thought! Second try at the same thought.

Right beside the clutch assembly is a shift guide, segment, the internal shifter, etc. Think of this assembly as the shift drum rotater. If you operate the shift pedal you will see this assembly ratchet as it rotates the shift drum. A pic of this assemble is what I was looking for, not a picture of the shift drum itself.

Found an ipl. Inspect parts 8 through 15 and #2 for wear. Wear on parts 10, 13, and 15 will cause a grinding noise and the bike to jump into and out of gear. Parts 11 and/or 12 can fall out causing all kinds of shifting problems and can get caught up in the clutch. Shift guide (#13) will sometimes bend, distort, or wear (power shifting) can also cause jumping out of neutral and grinding noises.
