1997 - Dodge ABS light

hey guys I have 2 dodge trucks

1 - 1997 dodge 1500 - gas 5.2 liter 2x4
- the ABS light comes on when I hit 60 kph
- the light goes out when I shut the truck off

2 - 1997 dodge 2500 diesel 2x4
- the light comes one when I start the truck
- someones the light goes out after I drive for awhile 20-30 KM's
- someones after driving for awhile put the truck in Park
and then back into drive and light goes out

*** any ideas how tho fix these problems

I have fixed a few of them .Most times it is the ABS sencer on top of the dif or abad wire going to it Hope this helps

is the bad wire usually to the sensor on top of the diff...
is the sensor on top of the diff easy to change

i meant is the bad wire close to the sensor

so the wire that is bad is close to the sensor that is on top of the rear diff ?

yes that's correct,the wires get hit buy rocks and stuff. The wire runs to the sensor along the top of the rear diff from the centre to the drivers side of the truck.
