Here i have a 1997 ski-doo summit 670 which has been made in to a 740 union bay. It has some nice after market pats. Like twin pipes,151'' by 2/14 track, seat, hood (It is as black as it gets) And when i bout the sled i got the Price list of ever thing that he put on it. The total was $19,000.

I will send ever ski-doo fan a few pictures.:d:rolleyes::p:mad::(:cool::beer:

Hey cool doo I have a 97 summit with a 15something track I think its a 153 or 156 I can't remember what the guy I bought it friom said. What pipes do you have I put on Crankshop twins this summer and waiting for snow to test them.
Do you know what gears your running? Mine is a dog, the guy I bought it from geared it down for the longer track now it bangs on the rev limiter and doesn't go anywhere. I don't know if I should go back to stock or somewhere in between.

And lets get those pics up I'm sure KORE wants a look as well!

Yep Id like a look! Your right about gearing it down. I found my 8t extros with 20/43 gear set was too much. I tried getting it with the clutch but no go. It would go like stink off the line but top out way to quick. So I went back to 23t top gear and its all good. Might consider some clutch work though to tune it right in. What pipes are you guys running in the 740's, Im putting one in an 04 rev and need pipes. Ill probably have Neil make me a set of his Power Pipes!

Hey Kore, I forget what track you have on there, I'm thinking I will have to gear down now with a 151x16, I have a 44 tooth coming, don't throw that 20 away:beer:

Thanks for the pics. Nice motor pics I'd love the big bore. I just don't know if I can stick that kind of cash into my sled. It would almost double the investment. My pipes I got used and don't have that long spring over them? I'll have to put in some fix it parts in for the first ride. I don't have EGT's either. I'm hoping for a no meltdown/boom. We'll see. I got my jetting start point from crankshop.

Thanks for the gear numbers KORE thats what I was looking for. Also wheres your upgrades? I'm sure something has changed?

I'll try and get some pics of mine this week.

Nice sled man - if you can swing a few extra bucks into I would get rid of the trailing arms and put some lightweight ones in their place. Simmons skis would serve her well also? Cool sled - that style 97/98/99 made some good modded sleds.

Ill try and get some pics up of my 670 (96 summit). Ive mangled my tunnel learning to weld alluminum but she looks good at a distance LOL. The nice thing about these oder sleds is there is an abundance of parts if you know where to look and they are quite easy to work on. Which may come in handy after a few cartwheels down a hill.

Here's how it sits right now. Widened the footboards, 17" shocks up front, lightweight arms, oil delete, twin pipes, 10" riser and snocross bars. Lightweight hood and windsheild yet to go on.:beer:

OK guys heres the thing. I bout this sled with all of the money that i had, Now i had a Chit load for a 14 year old but i also bout a $2600 dirt bike in july. And then when i went on a LITTLE shop trip on the web and end up spending $2000 on that.(holly Chit it was for my dirt bike)LOL So now i still have to pay $1600 to my dad.:d before i can buy things like light weight trailing arms, skis etc,
I would put lots of stuff on if i had the $$$$$$$$$$
