1996 polaris trail boss 250

Hey all. So my dad rebuilt the engine on our 250 last summer, days before he passed away. Anyway, the head gasket has crushed or whatever and its time to re torque the head bolts. What I need to know is what to torque them to. The owners manual says to take it to a dealer, but i'm not totally mechanically incompetant. Thanks alot

Ok, so I found this Polaris Top-end Torque specs - ATV Forums at ATV Rider Magazine And i need to know whether or not the 87 and 96 trail boss' had the same engine? Thanks a lot
