a buddy is selling his 300 for 1500.00 bucks its in need of a little TLC (rear axle brearings racks need panted and strighted up and probaly a set of tires before next season). only thing can you do much to these to get a bit more power out of them? its not bad stock tires topped out at 68km on the gps so it fast on the road just woundering in the mud how it would do. probaly go with mudlites maybe one size over stock and a k&n filter and slip on exusht re-jet but what elase is this a good deal its only 1500.00.

For the prices around my house this seems like a pretty fair price. I don't know how well a 300 would do with mudlites, I've been told by some people it might not even be good for my 420, but I'm no expert on this stuff.

Well, it's usually best to go with your gut feeling.

Why did you get rid of your 420? And it's good to know it'll take some bigger tires as well :)

Hey that's same as what I'm looking into recently. I want to pick up a sport quad or a dirt bike as well.

I know what you mean, takes a lot to make an atv nice and clean again! But you don't always have to get muddy, I can go a full day and have no mud on the atv.

Dirt bikes are a lot of fun, but you can't legally ride them anywhere around my house unless it's private property.

I cant seem to ride a quad without finding mud so its always muddy and as for bikes in BC we are good to go on crown land all we need is liablity insurance. I might go to a dual sport bike anyway.

I guess you have a lot of crown land too. I'm not sure about the laws for crown land here, I know you need full insurance, I think it needs to be plated like an atv as well though.
