I recently acquired a '76 Liquifire with just over 750 original miles. It was sitting around in a out building for many years. After replacing fuel lines, changing plugs, replacing the fuel and fluids, and just an overall clean up, the old girl fired up and ran. Now it is in need of a good tune up and she will be ready to hit the snow. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on where to take an old sled like this to get the work done in the Edmonton area. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

bring it to me,, licenced mechanic, been working on sleds since 68..charge you parts plus $40.00 hr,but you have to have it licenced and insured.Whitecourt bylaws require it for riding it. or see if Centrepoint performance is still in business near Leduc, they started out specializing in old JDs.
biggest weakness of those old JDs was the CDI box,,owners would remove the plugs, stick back in wire and pull it over,,if not grounded very good, the CDI burns out fast, and Very hard to get. giftedgoldwinger@yahoo.com
