I purchased a 2015 pro rmk a month ago. Since day 1 I have had problems with the inertia belt side {chain case side} filling up with snow. After every ride I have to melt and bang the snow out.. I concerned that eventually the ice is going the chew the belt up.. I put Frog Skinz on all the front and side vents, plus I Frog Skinz my right foot well. None of this helped. I took it to the dealer, they couldn't figure why either but have had other sleds in for the same reason... Is this a normal thing for these sleds? Does anyone have suggestions what I can try next to fix the problem?

Have you sealed the fender to bulkhead? Or checked the seal around the exhaust outlet? These both can let snow in especially in the right kind of conditions.

I had the same issue, found out it was just packing in through my footwell everytime i went to kick some snow away. Though you said you sealed yours off, my problem went away when I did that. Might be coming in from hood vents?

It can also come up through the QD whole in the belly pan. They sell bash guards that would prevent snow being scooped in there. Footwell screens stopped that issue for me. Look at skinz products they have a fix for that.

I would say most of that snow comes through the hole in the belly pan also. I could see ice being a problem with a beltdrive but not snow.
