Can anyone confirm if a 3" riser install on a pro will need cable extensions? I am getting conflicting reports.

It will work but its pretty tight and you might have issues. We dont sell anything more then a 2" with stock cables. Too many electrical issues with guys who tried to go higher without extensions

I have a 2" RSI riser on mine and the cables work but I wouldn't go any further. Was only about $30 plus shipping from RSI, about $50 all in.

I wouldn't go more than a 2" unless you extend your cables.

Also Power Madd makes 2" riser block, they are very common at most cycle works shops. 4" riser? how tall are you?lol

Why do you need over 2"? I am 6'2 with my boots on and a 2" is perfect. Just curious, unless u are a tall guy.

some guys were saying the riser makes it harder to side hill etc. I find the 2" way better than stock, more leverage and my back isn't aore from being bent over all day.

im 6'1" in socks and put a 3" on and absolutly love it for 2 seasons now. No extentions and no problems yet
