Yes I know its another bog thread but i haven't found much for info on '13s bogging. My setup is '13 pro 163 Blue Pink slp spring and Thing cooker can. I rode 2 previous trips with the can without issues so im wondering if its something else. I rode the Renshaw for 3 days of Deep snow last week. Day1 it bogged a couple times. Day2 about 5. Day3 probably about a dozen times. Day 3 being the deepest over the hood snow day. I consistently clear my intakes as they always seem to get covered. So i guess my question is, does it sound like its ingesting snow? Or just being choked off? I found no issues on the trails or straight bursts up through the trees. The bog only really showed up playing in the deep and cutting sidehills. Has anyone else run into anything similar on their '13?

Thanks

I don't care what machine you run, in over the hood snow, they will all bog due to the snow plugging the intakes. All you can do is clear the snow, and try to make it breath better. Have you taken the horns out of your air box? It will def help.

Yup... Mine did the exact same thing in the powder and it got worse and worse until it started actually dying and needing 10 or so minutes before it would start again and then it started doing it on the trail too. It's at the dealer now and they are stumped? We had to bypass the harness at the ignition to get it to keep running... I wonder if something electrical was getting wet??

Take the plastic bags that are wrapped around the harness off as well, I found they collected snow. It's possible connections are getting wet as well.

I was having trouble with moisture in my tps sensor connection behind the secondary. Would idle fine but every so often wen on the throttle it sounded like the tss was tripped an would cut power completely fer a sec.. Usually Wen I needed it most lol.. So I took it apart, sprayed wd40 in the connection to draw out the moisture then soaked it up with a paper towel, hit it with some dialectic grease and been goin good since.

Horns are out and every electrical connection I've found got greased. That TPS is a pain in the ass!
