I just picked up my new sled last weekend. I noticed unloading I need high rpm to get the clutch to engage and move the sled. I never really got a good look at what the rpm was but would say too high over 5000. Hunting has been keeping me too busy top sit down and look at it. Elevation here is 1200-1300 feet, which is were a fair bit of my riding will be. I will being making 4-5 trips to Revy, Golden, Valemont this year. So now to the question, is it the elevation causing the high rpm for clutch engagement? What weights should I be using in a stock clutch for riding here, is there a quick change thing I can do or is it pull the primary and change evertime I go some where new? This is my first new sled, my first mountain sled, so am fairly new to this, any help is very much appreciated

The stock primary spring is a 200/320. Most everybody went to a 160/320 right away (purple/purple spring) for the reasons you are describing. Clutching is a personal preference....and there is a lot that can be done if you choose to. Easiest first step is the spring change.
