09 dragon broken starter bolt

i just bought an 09 800 dragon with electric start with only 83 miles and it hasnt been riden for a year or so since it had the engine recall and a few miles into my ride the starter drive bolt nearest the ring gear busted off and i was wondering if this was a common problem with this set up or was it to do with the engine work and maybe got overtightened. anyone know an easy fix lol?

on my 08 dragon the same thing happened , It was in for a recall , and shortly after I got it back, it broke off not saying they did it , but i think there is a issue in the design, i spent a few bucks getting a angle drill and bits and other stuff, i drilled it out and as i went to use the easy out it broke in the block,
well as i found out , i had 6 days left on my warranty , and the dealer was awesome with it and pulled out the engine and repaired it ,
so now why do i say a design issue , i have a 07 600 uses the same starter design
the bolt has backed out we purchased a new bolt installed it and the pinion mount was cracked , spent 112 bucks got a new one , started the sled 6 times the bolt had striped out of the block and broke the pinon mount again
so now I am going to wait till spring ill pull the motor and fill the bolt hole and re tap it and lock tight it in after i see if i can get any of the aluminum pinon mounts welded up
